#87 – 14 NEW and EXCITING Patterns from Zebra Patterns!!!! Sneak Peek!

Today I finished my photos for the 12 NEW Birds – The Birds 2 Collection! I am posting my new items that will be coming soon!

We have added 12 more birds! These birds are more “western USA” birds. Above is the whole quilt and below is the new catalog page. These birds come in a collection of 12 or as individual wall hangings! That now makes 24 Birds in the Zebra Patterns line!

Family Tree Quilt 50″ x 60″ quilt pattern

This new quilt pattern was inspired by a wedding chuppah I made for my niece and nephew. You can see the original quilt that was 110 x 100 on my website at: http://www.zebrapatterns.com. It is in the GALLERY.  It is a family tree! It is pieced and raw edge appliquéd. It should release in early summer 2012. The cool thing about the quilt is that you embroider (machine or by hand) all of your family members on the leaves. There are enough leaves to include everyone and even special dates – like graduations, weddings and other special memories. This is a great gift for a newly married couple or to a grandmother with all her offspring! Anyone would love to get this as a gift! The pattern will have a free downloadable font to personalize the Family Name.

“Applique Animals A-Z” – another pattern book by Debra Gabel

Below you will see the front and back cover of my newest book. It will be my first self-published book. It is a book of 26 baby animals that are so cute and simple to assemble with raw edge applique. The back cover shows the 26 animals in this book. There will be a second book very soon to follow named ” More Appliqué Animals”. These books will be available early Summer from our website. The main concept behind these animals is to have a library of all your favorites plus some unusual animals. The next time you need a gift for a toddler or for a baby – you can appliqué these cute critters onto a receiving blanket, a tote, a tee, a bib from the store! It is simple – but personalized!
