#96 ARE YOU Licensed to QUILT?????

This summer many of the NY and PA quilt shops will be featuring a cool program asking everyone “Are You Licensed to Quilt?”  Starting very soon – but for sure by the summer shop hops in July, you will be able to purchase your own FabricPlate™ from your favorite NY or PA participating Quilt Shop! They have each created a fun Fabric Plate to collect and make fun projects with! These plates are great as mailable postcards, focus fabrics, label accents on the back of quilts and your imagination is the only limit as to what you can do with them!

How did this all start? Last market in Houston I came up with the FabricPlate™ concept as a free give away at a lecture I gave. One of Zebra Patterns’ favorite and most successful customers “Calico Gals” in Syracuse NY said she would like to create a state wide program. Janet Lutz, owner and creative thinker for her shop, called me and whalla! A state wide FabricPlate™ Program was born. It has taken on a life of its own! Now PA has joined in the fun! Take a look at the birth of 30 of the FabricPlates™. I STRONGLY encourage to visit Janet in Syracuse to see a GREAT quilt shop!

If you have not heard of Zebra Patterns – you need to check us out and certainly pass the word on to your local quilt shops! We are ALWAYS doing creative projects that will inspire you and the quilt community to really have a great time!

Hi Debra! I love these plates! I sure hope you are designing some for Ohio, or maybe getting Cathy Daum to do it! 😉
