I DID IT!!! I DID IT!!!!

I made my first digitize applique pattern!

I am super psyched I did it! I have taken the plunge! I am sure you digitizers out there think I am nuts – but it more about challenging yourself to step in unknown waters! I have about 75 animals to digitize – bet when I am done there I will have this down! This is a simple applique – but it is my first step! Wahoo! If you are an embroidered applique fan and would like to try sewing out some of the new things I do for free – send me an email with your name and what type of machine you have. I will be making a list and sending out the files in late spring. I hope to get sewers from all different brands of machine. I will be including the files so that sewers can use their cutting machines!

I hope you use this posting to go out and do something that scares you a little – something new – something that you are scared you may not be able to do – or may not be able to do well. They say it takes 10,0000 hours to master a new craft. 9,900 hours to go!  I now I have a good 100 hours+ into reading, watching video, and just learning about this new found obsession. (No it did not take me 100 hours to do this penguin – but if I added up all the research and study I have done in the past 2-3 years – I am sure it is well over 100 hours!) Yes I can see this being added to my OCD list! LOL   The good thing about OCD is when you think you have it you can accept it and focus it on something productive!

YOU have to do something new – GO FOR IT! If you are reading this it is not an accident! You need to go do that thing you have always hesitated to do!
